SAN BARONTO (PT) – Bad consequences for Oscar Gatto after the incident in 4th stage of Tour of Sardinia, where he is fell down with Petacchi, Sabatini and Colli. In the same day, was clear that Gatto was the rider with most important consequences, but the day after he has done the sprint, where he is arrived third and the doubt were closed. Instead, yesterday during the Tour of Friuli, Gatto has had problem to breathe. A problem to treat with many days of complete rest, then he can return gradually in bike: “I regret, I’m in good physical status and I feel the success near. Now I have to stop, I can’t race the Eroica, that is a big race where I should be protagonist. I hope to be ready for Tirreno” – this is the comment of Oscar Gatto, really regret for the situation: “When I fell off, I understood that something wasn’t okey. But the day after I was good. Instead yesterday I had a bad day, and the visits of today confirmed the fracture… I hope to recover in time for Tirreno, because it’s one of my goals of the season”.
