He was near to the success at the first and fourth stage of Sardinia, then he found it in Sarda classic, after a difficult day:"team fantastic, I'm really happy. But now I want something more"

Nine days of race, two podiums and a success. The season 2010 of Giovanni Visconti is started good with Classica Sarda, last race of Sardinian week, where Visconti won thanks to a great work of his team:"The team was perfect, all my teammaters worked for this result. Scognamiglio guided me in escape, Caccia and Longo Borghini worked for guarantee the advantage at the escape and Clarke, with me, has done the selection" - Visconti explained, protagonist in the daily escape, with 31 riders, finished with a sprint of 20 riders where Visconti won on Fabio Sabatini (Liquigas) and Geoffroy Lequatre (RadioShack):
"I have done a long sprint, with the possibility to lost it. But behind us the group was near and I decided to start my sprint at 300 metres. I change "the gear" when I note the others and I was lucky, remain first until the end". Satisfation for all the team, protagonist of the race (49 km/h middle final) and really happy Visconti, who now think to his other goals: "I'm happy for this success, it is what I want - Visconti concluded - and a success in the first part of the season was in my programs. But now I want something more, I want to win in the important races of RCS, firstly in Tirreno - Adriatico". Visconti relaise 2010: 27 years old, father, leader of a team and ready for definitive change.
